REAL ESTATE MAY BE AFFECTED
I intend to speak with the Florida Association of realtors Legal hotline as well as the local realtors association ECAR, to determine the possible ramifications of any lawsuits between the Retreat and county, state, and/or Federal agencies as to what extra disclosures may be needed to buyers and other information if any required on the multiple listing service (MLS)
Realtors face serious action for failure to disclose any known factors that could affect a property they are selling.
Forms may be needed to aviod lawsuits by buyers after a sale.
If in doubt, Disclose
As one or more of the Board members has a property for sale and/or a real estate agent as a spouse or an agent representing them and many homeowners have an agent listing their property this could become an added burden to the Retreat and those who work in the Real Estate business in South Walton County.
